To heighten the rainy atmosphere, I add the rain effect and I applied a water droplet mask to the camera, simulating the look of raindrops on a lens and adding to the wet, immersive feel of the scene.

Background
I selected assets with a classic British architectural style to construct the backdrop. Scaffolding and trees were added as accents, while the smooth, reflective pavement captured the glow of lights, enhancing the quiet, moody atmosphere of a rainy day. The softly lit buildings and hazy details provide depth and context, but they remain understated to keep attention on the mid ground action.

My first step was to introduce overall ambient lighting and atmospheric fog to establish the scene's general tone and mood. This helped set the base color palette and enhanced the rainy, subdued ambiance of the environment.

I added smaller, detailed light sources to enrich the scene. These include car headlights, reflective light on the wet road, and rim lights behind the trees. These elements help to enhance the depth and realism of the composition, creating a more dynamic and visually engaging atmosphere.

I adjusted the exposure, fog, and refraction to balance the composition, keeping the scene atmospheric while highlighting the midground cars and reflective streets.
